Aceverse respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), we will respond to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement and remove or disable access to the identified material.
Most imagery on Aceverse (game cover art, rank emblems) is displayed under the terms of the services that provide it (Steam, IGDB, and the publishers' own press assets) for the purpose of identifying the games a player plays. User-uploaded content (avatars, banners) is provided by the account holder, who is responsible for having the rights to it.
If you believe content on Aceverse infringes your copyright, send a written notice to hello@aceverse.gg with the subject line “DMCA takedown” including:
If material you posted was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address including: the material's identification and former URL; a statement under penalty of perjury of your good-faith belief that the removal was erroneous; your name, address, and phone number; consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or any district where Aceverse may be found if you are outside the US); and your signature. If the original complainant does not file a court action within 10–14 business days, we may restore the material.
We terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
Under 17 U.S.C. §512(f), anyone who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
